FESTIVAL OF TREES

This is a fun filled day of volunteering.  The Orlando Museum of Art sponsors a week of activities displaying Christmas Trees and Wall hangings decorated by professional designers and/or organizations.  Miscellaneous Christmas decorations, children’s activities, a visit from Santa, Carolers performing, and many other events throughout the week bring a large crowd to the museum.  All funds raised support the Museum of Art throughout the year.  Chapter members volunteer to be hostesses directing visitors, staffing the Christmas Store, assisting children with arts and crafts, serving food, etc.  Members have fun and spend a lot of money.  This is one of the Chapters most favorite volunteer opportunities.
